Val Wise serves as as the CEO and at RISE Strategic Marketing and acts as the Chief Marketing Advisor for RISE clients. Having been trained in business and marketing early by her dad—one of the founding fathers of the personal computer—she now offers 30 years of experience in practical, focused, technology-driven marketing. This experience is the foundation of the the RISE “World Domination” trainings, subscriptions, and apps.
Val has developed world-class marketing and PR strategies for global brands, national franchises, regional enterprises and start-up ventures, and is regularly asked to present her unique approach to digital marketing and national business owner conferences throughout the US. She is recognized for making complex processes easily executable by non-marketers and busy business owners.
Early in her career, she was mentored within the senior leadership team for the sales and marketing launch of the wireless division of the Fortune 500 telecommunications firm Sprint in the Los Angeles market (now a division of T-Mobile). She then led the marketing launch of two national franchise service brands and founded a company that operated four major-market franchises in Southern California, before selling the locations in 2007.
Val went on to lead the Business Marketing and Public Relations Division for the loyalty marketing firm Access Development for two years before joining national franchise operations leadership of Property Management Business Solutions (RPM, now a division of Neighborly) as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The franchise then became a client of her full-service marketing firm, RISE Strategic, in late 2012, along with several of the franchise owners.
Over the next decade, RISE has grown year-over-year solely by referral, and now serves businesses of all sizes across a wide range of industries in the consumer services, health care, beauty, real estate, education, non-profit, and especially business-to-business sectors.
In order to better serve more clients, Valerie began the “World Domination” series in 2020 to provide her expertise in clear, practical trainings that allow business owners and start ups to leverage the higher level of experience they need in a more affordable manner that keeps them in control and more efficient in their strategic marketing execution.
